Powerful thought, Paul. Something to take with us wherever we go. (Although that guy in front of me in the checkout line with a cart full of groceries sure feels like he's in my way!)
This is a simple but powerful message, Paul. I believe very strongly that we create (and can therefore remove) our own obstacles. Recognition of our ownership of our destiny is a critical step in development not to mention happiness. Thanks for keeping these insights coming!
That's a tough one because many of us face obstacles we don't create and have no power over, especially in our careers.
This post was a personal reflection on what we often see as 'things in our way' and how my views changed when I realised other people weren't stopping me from getting what I wanted, even though it can feel that way at times.
Thanks for your comment, you have moved the ball forward as always!

Hope you're having a wonderful week.

Thanks Ronnie Ann,
ReplyDeleteThat guy is often ahead of me in the checkout line too and sometimes I catch myself blaming him just for being there.
Then I feel better when I remember he's not in my way at all :)
